DIY Gifts for the Holidays

'Tis the season!

This is the season of giving and if you are not sure what to give this year, why not try some homemade oily gifts!

These are a few of my favorite stocking stuffer ideas that are quick and easy to share with friends and family!

You never know who you may inspire to start swapping out some of their more toxic products for a new, safer alternative.

If homemade isn’t your style, check out the Young Living Holiday Catalog for great gift giving ideas or treat yourself to a new oil blend!

Thanks so much for checking out my site, please message me with any questions and I’d be happy to help!

Lip Balms

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp Coconut oil

2 Tbsp beeswax pellets

1 Tbsp Shea butter

1 Tbsp Sweet Almond Oil (carrier oil)

15 drops Young Living Essential Oil (I like lavender or peppermint)

12-14 lip balm tubes

1 rubber band and 1-2 pipettes (small plastic droppers to transfer to tubes)

Directions

Stand all lip balm tubes up and remove caps, secure with rubber band

Using a double boiler, melt coconut oil, beeswax and shea butter. Once melted, remove from heat and add the almond oil and essential oils.

Using pipettes, transfer the liquid to the containers. The quicker the better as it will harden quickly!

Let them cool before capping.

Bath Bombs

Dry Ingredients:

1 cup baking soda

½ cup Epsom salts

¾ cup corn starch

½ cup citric acid

Wet Ingredients:

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp witch hazel

2 Tbsp jojoba oil

20-30 drops essential oil of your choice (lavender or stress away are amazing!)

Directions:

Mix the dry ingredients together and slowly add the wet ingredients whisking together.

Use bath bomb molds and let them set overnight.

Silent Night Pillow Spray

Ingredients:

2 oz glass spray bottle

1 tsp witch hazel

5 drops lavender essential oil

5 drops cedarwood essential oil

5 drops vetiver essential oil

Distilled water

Directions:

Add all ingredients to the spray bottle and fill with distilled water.

Shake and spray on your pillow or sheets before bed!
